The Unicommerce eKumbh event at Lucknow, supported by LucknowPulse as the Outreach Partner, was a significant gathering for the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) community. This was first of its kind of a learning event for ecommerce startups in Lucknow, particularly in the D2C segment. Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) is model where manufacturers can directly sell to the consumers, thereby shortening the supply chain with no role for Wholesalers or stockists. The first learning session highlighted Unicommerce’s apps, with the theme “Seamless Error-Free Backend Operations to Uplift Post-Purchase Experience.” This session underscored the importance of streamlined backend processes in enhancing customer satisfaction post-purchase, a crucial aspect for D2C brands.

The event’s first panel discussion, titled “Powering Sustainable D2C Growth & Post-Purchase Journeys to Corners of India,” explored practical strategies for D2C brands to sustainably expand across India.
